The Radiologic Technologist performs fluoroscopic procedures employing equipment primarily C-Arms, that emit ionizing radiation. The technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply a prescribed amount of radiation for the purpose of obtaining optimal fluoroscopic pictures for interventional pain procedures, as well as for surgery.
