Assist physicians in assessing patients and establishing care plans for those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Implement nursing standards and policies while training new clinical employees on office protocols.
Requires a nursing degree from an approved school and a current RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State. Must hold a current AHA CPR certification and have two to three years of oncology clinical experience.
Assist physician in assessing patients and establishing a plan of care for patient while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Two to three years clinical experience working with oncology patients and a strong desire to teach patients. A staff nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Office Manager. The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care. This position also trains new clinical employees in office protocols.
