Compensation is based on experience and skill level ($22-27/hr).
Monday through Thursday / Four 9-hour shift + on-call shifts
1 Saturday per quarter is required to support a Cardiology clinic

Responsibilities
Managing client communication, including scheduling, patient histories, prescription refills, post-visit follow-up, financial estimates, and discharge instructions.
Patient restraint and assist with cardiology procedures, including echocardiograms, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, temporary pacemaker implantation, thoracocentesis, pericardiocentesis, and abdominocentesis.
Collect diagnostic samples and perform technical duties, including blood draws, IVC placement, thoracic radiographs, ECG setup and monitoring, Holter monitoring preparation, and CRI setup for emergency patients.
Monitor and administer anesthesia for procedures.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot cardiology equipment, including ultrasound units and ECG monitoring systems.
Coordinate referring veterinarian communication, including records, inpatient summaries, diagnostic results, and discharge documentation.
Audit invoices and provide owners with charge updates as needed.
Facilitate ICU patient visits and support discharge readiness, including medications, documentation, and belongings.
Assist veterinarians and inpatient teams with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, husbandry, and treatment sheet updates.
Monitor external laboratory submissions, diagnostic workflows, and patient records in EzyVet.
