Indirect Patient Care Keeps procedure areas clean and organized, ensuring readiness for fluctuating patient volumes. Continuing Education Completes required competency checklists within designated timeframes, including age-specific training. Required: Must be registered or registry-eligible in Adult Echocardiography through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), with certification obtained within one year. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Ability to obtain and interpret diagnostic-quality images independently. Skill in patient care and communication, including positioning and explaining procedures. Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and use of electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to follow protocols and safety procedures, including infection control.
