The Graduate Practical Nurse assists with assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They collaborate with the care team and advocate for patients while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program and hold a Licensed Practical Nurse license. Certifications such as CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or recommended for the care area.

Performs the primary functions of an LPN in assisting with assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all patients, regardless of age, during his/her shift. Responsible for meeting the established standards of skilled nursing practice. Professional Graduate Practical Nurse collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, and advocates for patients.
