Must also be available to work the entire week for the required call schedule every 5th week Monday-Friday 11:30pm-7am, Saturday 7am-7am, and Sunday 7am-7am. Here's What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required Graduate of an AMA approved / accredited Ultrasound Program preferred Associate's Degree preferred 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital radiology preferred BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography and one additional modality required upon hire Or ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers must have 2 certifications required upon hire And Other RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography required upon hire Competency in scanning/equipment operation. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Will Do: Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to and during exam. Images correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols. Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Adjusts technical parameters to optimize image. Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies). Maintains ARDMS, CME credits and CPR yearly or when applicable (ARRT and CMRT if applicable).
