Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Veterinary Dermatologist to join our growing team of specialists. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment with a strong support team and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about dermatology, client communication, and providing high-quality, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions in small animals, including allergic, autoimmune, infectious, and parasitic diseases. Perform dermatologic procedures such as skin scrapings, cytologies, biopsies, and allergy testing (intradermal or serum-based). Conduct video otoscopy and deep ear flushes as needed. Provide dermatologic consultations for in-house referrals and external clients. Collaborate with referring veterinarians and in-house specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Educate clients on treatment plans, medication use, and long-term management strategies. Preferred Skills: Experience with or interest in teaching and mentoring support staff or interns Familiarity with advanced dermatologic diagnostics and treatment protocols Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively with other specialists
Qualifications
