- CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.
- Job Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs.
- The Behavioral Health Clinician coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services.
- The Behavioral Health Clinician completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program.
- The BHC documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs.
- The BHC coordinates care with the family or other significant others.
- Skills/Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a field related Behavioral Health.
- Master’s Degree is preferred but not required.
- Master’s Degree in field related to behavioral health and/or has been licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor preferred.
- 1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
- Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor is preferred.
