The Recovery Peer Specialist links individuals with Substance Use Disorder to various treatment programs and provides ongoing support. They also offer educational resources and assist in the triage, screening, and evaluation of patients.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree. CRPS Certification is mandatory, and candidates must complete CPR and First Aid certification within six months of employment.
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.
