The Medical Assistant coordinates patient flow, prepares patients for examinations, and documents clinical information as a scribe. They are also responsible for processing lab results and assisting with front-office administrative tasks.
A high school diploma is required, and a minimum of six months of related experience is preferred. An Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance or National Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desired.
