Provides direct and indirect care for pediatric patients, including performing phlebotomy and assisting with medical procedures under RN supervision. Maintains the patient room environment and manages unit supplies to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Nurse Aide registry in NE or IA, or an LPN/RN license. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
Schedule: Full-time, 7:00am to 7:30pm, with weekend and holiday rotation
A Brief Overview Provides direct care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of pediatric patients under the direction and supervision of the RN, and provides for indirect unit support needs related to supplies and equipment. Varied schedules to include weekend and holiday patterns.
