Job Description

The Medical Assistant facilitates patient care by assisting patient through system. Support clinical staff and maintain office environment. Desired/Required Qualifications: Education: Certified Medical Assistant, i.e. complete course work for medical assistant.

Two years of work experience in similar job or work environment.

Duties and
Responsibilities (Essential
Functions): Assist in the delivery of patient care through the oversight of provider schedules and the management of associated office workflow. Prepare and deliver patient record for clinical exchange in a manner that maximizes efficiency and quality of care. Maintain office environment; to include the stocking of supplies in exam rooms. Function as a team member by expanding responsibilities as directed by management to facilitate optimal workflow within the cancer center. May be pulled to work at other CHC sites based on clinic and patient needs. All other duties as assigned. Providing advanced treatments and compassionate care close to home.
