As a Substitute Direct Support Professional (DSP), you step in when you’re needed most—providing compassionate care, stability, and dignity in moments that matter. This is more than a job. It is a purpose in action. What You’ll Do Support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities
• Assist with daily living: meals, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks Administer medications (Medication Administration, Cat 1, required) Transport individuals to medical appointments, activities, and community outings Encourage independence, choice, and self advocacy Document care accurately and follow DODD & HIPAA guidelines Represent Siffrin with professionalism and compassion Additional medical certifications (G/J Tube Cat 2, Insulin Cat 3) may be required based on location.
