The LPN/Medical Assistant supports providers by managing patient flow, performing clinical screenings, and assisting with medical procedures. They are also responsible for clerical tasks, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and current LPN or Medical Assisting licensure/certification. A minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting and basic computer proficiency are preferred.
The LPN/Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Providers (Physicians and Nurse Practitioners) with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of the practice, serving as the go-between of the Provider(s) and the patient(s) and ensuring a superior patient experience.
