Provides professional nursing care and assistance during cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory. Responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requires a nursing degree, New York State RN license, and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and Conscious Sedation. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in both acute care and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).
Assist in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitors and examines patients prior to procedures, as well as during and after procedure care. Administers medications including conscious sedation and assists the medical team as needed during the procedure. Responsible to all patient’s documentations and procedure notes, ensuring all documentation are completed correctly and in timely manner.
