Responsible for maintaining statistical records and health information documents for residents at the Illinois Veterans' Home. Duties include reviewing health records for accuracy and handling requests for medical information while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Requires two years of college and one year of health-related office experience, or a high school diploma and three years of health-related office experience. Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a CPR certificate.

This position is considered sedentary work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(a)). Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and requires occasional lifting, carrying, walking, and standing.7. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate.8.
