The RN provides quality patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing in an acute care behavioral health facility. Responsibilities include assessing patient data and interpreting information to meet age-specific requirements.
Candidates must be Registered Nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for adults with mental health needs. Experience in assessing and interpreting patient status relative to growth and development is required.

The RN performs under the direct supervision of the DON and is delegated an assignment to achieve quality patient care. The RN demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed.
