The physician is responsible for the medical care and treatment of hospice patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and attending physicians. They provide guidance to staff and volunteers to ensure quality standards of care and participate in clinical training.
The candidate must be an expert in their field capable of leading a hospice interdisciplinary team. Professionalism, collaboration, and a commitment to end-of-life care are essential.
