Direct and provide professional nursing care within a 28-bed Step down Unit, maintaining a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. Responsibilities include delegating assignments, overseeing admissions and discharges, and managing medicines and supplies.
Requires a current RN licensure in the State of Idaho and BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months. A BSN and previous nursing experience are strongly preferred.
Northwest Specialty Inpatient Department is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the team!
In this fast-paced role you will direct and provide professional nursing care in our 28 bed, Step down Unit. The typical patient to nurse ratio is 4:1, but can vary based on department needs. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Individuals in this role perform such duties as delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.
