Duties & Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour on-call orthopedic surgery coverage, responding to consults, emergency department visits, and surgical cases. Perform closed reductions, wound I&D, and fracture surgeries (wrist, ankle, hip). Stabilize and transfer long bone trauma cases as needed. Ensure prompt response within 20 minutes while on call. Document all care in Meditech EMR and adhere to gratis hours policy (up to 4 gratis hours per day).
