Description Admissions Milieu Counselor

• Arms Acres is looking for a motivated individual to join our Admissions team in Carmel, NY.
• In this role you will coordinate and perform all tasks required to prepare a patient for an admission.
• This includes greeting patients, ensures all bags are tagged and moved to storage room.
• The candidate will search all baggage, bags, purses, etc. and document findings on admissions search form.
• The position participates in reviewing patient handbook with patient, has patient sign forms, and introduces patient to wing member and/or case manager.

Thursday, Friday- Saturday, Sunday MOnday 8

• 30am-5pm
• Thursday,
• Friday,
• Saturday and alternating
• Wednesday's - hours are 9:30a-10pm

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 1 year related experience and/or training.
