The RN provides safe, quality patient-family centered care within the Surgical Services Ambulatory and Recovery Room areas. Responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, collaborating during operative episodes, and managing post-surgical recovery and discharge.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a current Michigan State board of Nursing license. Two years of perioperative experience is required, and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within one year of hire.
Surgical Services – RN Ambulatory/PACU: Full Time – 72 hours/pay
Scheurer, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a registered nurse to work as a full time employee in the Surgical Services Department. The Ambulatory Surgery RN is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in Surgical Services Ambulatory area for all patient populations.
