Maintain a safe and structured therapeutic environment for women in recovery through regular house checks and resident support. Handle administrative tasks including daily logs, shift reports, drug testing, and transporting clients to required activities.
Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and preferably over two years of experience in human services or substance abuse treatment. Candidates must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools and possess strong interpersonal skills.
As a Behavioral Health Monitor, you will be a steady, supportive presence for residents throughout your shift, helping maintain structure, safety, and engagement. Responsibilities include: Conduct house checks every two hours to ensure clients are participating in program activities or productive occupation Provide safe, reliable transportation to meetings, church services, and other required activities Maintain accurate daily logs and email shift reports to clinical staff Report client concerns promptly and complete incident reports as needed Administer scheduled drug tests following facility protocols Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team communication Deliver verbal shift handovers to incoming staff to ensure seamless continuity of care Support new admissions by completing intake checklists and providing orientation Uphold house rules and reinforce a structured, therapeutic environment
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience (2+ years preferred) in substance use treatment, mental health, or related human services Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to set healthy boundaries Comfortable working independently and using sound judgment Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic internet navigation Experience driving a 12–15 passenger van is a plus, but not required Attend staff meetings
