Deliver direct patient care including vital sign collection, medication administration, and assistance with diagnostic procedures. Coordinate patient schedules, manage medical records, and provide education to patients and their families.
Requires completion of an accredited medical assistant program and a recognized MA certification within one year of hire. BLS certification and mandatory reporter training must be obtained within three months of employment.
