The RN utilizes the nursing process to perform assessments and diagnoses to ensure patient readiness for safe perioperative care. They are responsible for formulating care plans and communicating potential barriers to effective treatment.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree and a valid Florida Registered Nurse License along with BLS certification. One year of experience in Perioperative Services is preferred.
Under the direction of the RN Supervisor, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis to formulate a plan, evaluate and assure patient�s readiness for safe, efficient and effective care throughout the patient�s perioperative experience and appropriately communicates barriers/possible barriers of such.
