Provide technical support to physicians during interventional and surgical procedures, including patient preparation and device management. Operate specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment while acting as a patient advocate and educator.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Radiology, NYDOH license, ARRT certification, and BLS/CPR certification. Experience as an OR x-ray technologist in a high-volume setting is preferred.
The Interventional/Special Procedures Technologist will provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison.
Usd $47.74 - Usd $62.51 /Hr.
