Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN program with a valid Iowa nursing license and meet all CEU requirements. Proficiency in certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP is required.

Your day to day as a RN - ED/PCU As a Registered Nurse at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. What we're looking for in a RN - ED/PCU To succeed as a Registered Nurse at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you must possess a comprehensive foundation in nursing practices, demonstrated by your graduation from an accredited RN program. Meeting all Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements mandated by the Iowa Board of Nursing is essential, along with maintaining a current registration and valid nursing license. A strong commitment to ongoing education allows you to stay informed about advancements in healthcare. Additionally, proficiency in certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP is crucial for providing high-quality care across a range of patient needs. Effective communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills are vital, as you will supervise LPNs and CNAs while ensuring the delivery of safe and empathetic care to patients of all ages.
