The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, and assessments for patients of all ages. Key duties include managing mechanical ventilators, providing emergency respiratory care, and educating patients on disease management.
Candidates must hold NBRC credentials and a current Wisconsin license, along with BLS certification. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

We’re looking for a casual Respiratory Care Practitioner who is passionate about patient care and eager to work with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals!This is a casual position. Hours are 7 am – 3:30 pm or 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Weekend hours as needed.
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for performing cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, assessments and teaching to a diverse population of patients of all ages.
Education & Licensure: National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed, registry preferred Current WI License required BLS required Experience: Minimum one year experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and listening skills Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities Proven ability to take initiative and is resourceful Ability to analyze and solve problems Role-specific Competencies: Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times St. Croix Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
