• Job Duties: - Understands and works with x-ray system, including panning table and recognizing different angles. - Manages access site including proper removal of sheath, assessment of hematoma and knowledge of hematoma management.
• Understands concepts of radiation safety. - Able to communicate effectively with team, patients, families and medical staff. - Assists in scrub role for basic Interventional vascular procedures such as fistulagrams, central line placement, abdominal-aortal arteriograms with run-off, stent placement, angioplasty. - Able to circulate, monitor and perform post procedure filming of cases.  - Knowledgeable in vascular anatomy and recognizing different types of lesions. - Basic knowledge of supply features and applications to procedure. - Knowledge and adherence to sterile technique. Â

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of accredited school of radiologic OR cardiovascular technology. 2.
• Certifications/Licensure: Registered as an ARRT or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) prior to employment is preferred or within 24 months of employment as a condition of continued employment  The above statements are intended to describe the work being performed by people assigned to this job.
