The Medical Assistant performs routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in examinations and treatments. They are also responsible for maintaining the patient care environment and managing department supplies.
Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days. The role requires the ability to provide optimal care to patients and families in a multi-specialty clinic.
The Medical Assistant I maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.
