Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing pulmonary and gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedural assessment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and effective discharge planning.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid Indiana RN license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Med Surg or Critical Care is minimum, while Endoscopy and Moderate Sedation experience are preferred.
Registered nurse in endoscopy setting provides continuity of individual patient care, safety, and education by direct assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care for the patient undergoing endoscopic procedures. Carry out responsibilities within the framework of the established standards of patient care in nursing practice.
