Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC | Remote Therapist Position, Florida Position Snapshot Role: Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC Location: Florida Setting: Remote / Telehealth Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary We are looking for a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide therapy services through a remote telehealth model. This role involves meeting with clients in scheduled video sessions, understanding their mental health needs, creating care plans, and helping them work through personal, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Clients may be seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, work-related stress, or life transitions. The LMHC will provide structured counseling, monitor progress, and keep clinical documentation current while maintaining a professional and secure virtual care environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver virtual therapy sessions to clients using a secure telehealth system Complete client intakes, psychosocial assessments, and clinical reviews Identify appropriate therapy goals based on presenting concerns and diagnosis Provide counseling support using evidence-based and clinically appropriate methods Help clients strengthen coping skills, decision-making, self-awareness, and emotional balance Maintain complete and timely documentation for all services provided Monitor client safety and respond according to established clinical protocols Protect client confidentiality during all remote sessions and communications Stay aligned with Florida licensing requirements and ethical counseling practices Use electronic health record systems to manage notes and treatment information Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication Ability to work independently in a remote setting Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions $115,000–$120,000 annual salary Full benefits package 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Remote work setting Full-time, weekday schedule Supportive administrative structure If you are a licensed LMHC in Florida and want a remote role where your clinical skills can make a steady impact, send your resume to be considered for this opportunity.
