Performs moderate and high complexity diagnostic testing across various lab disciplines including hematology and microbiology. Responsible for conducting phlebotomy for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations while maintaining detailed records.
Requires certification as an MT, MLT, MLA, or CLA. Candidates must possess strong verbal skills, good vision, and the ability to work under pressure.
Performs moderate and high complexity testing per CLIA standards. Performs hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and coagulation testing to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs quantitative and qualitative procedures. Keeps detailed records of all tests performed and reports to authorized personnel. Will be required to work independently and perform phlebotomy on ER, inpatients, and outpatients. HOURS: Full-Time, 72 hours per pay period, day shift. Will be included in the weekend, holiday, and on-call schedule. Must be willing to be flexible to meet department needs and assist in clinics when needed.
MT, MLT, MLA, or CLA. Must have good vision and verbal skills. Must be able to perform well under pressure and cope with a variety of situations. Experience preferred. PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and lift up to 10 pounds. Must have good visual abilities. Must be able to perform detailed tasks and be subject to interruptions.
