The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and supports the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate and complete documentation within patient medical records.
Candidates must complete an accredited Medical Assistant training program and hold certification from an accredited organization or be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Entry-level candidates are welcome, though previous experience in primary care or outpatient settings is preferred.

Licensure / Certification Currently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse or other accredited certifying organization. Experience Entry level; previous medical assistant experience preferred. Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.
