Current Openings Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Cardiology Pay: $25.00–$34.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, four 10-hour shifts The Cardiology RVT provides advanced nursing care for cardiology patients, assists with echocardiograms, ECGs, radiology, CT imaging, anesthesia, and client education while working closely with board-certified cardiologists.
Veterinary Assistant – Cardiology Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, four 10-hour shifts The Cardiology Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and RVTs with patient care, diagnostics, radiology, CT imaging, laboratory procedures, anesthesia support, and client communication.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Internal Medicine Pay: $25.00–$34.00 per hour Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (full time) or Tuesdays & Thursdays 8am-6pm (part time) The Internal Medicine RVT serves as the primary support technician for our Internal Medicine service, assisting with advanced diagnostics, endoscopy, imaging, anesthesia, laboratory testing, patient management, and client education for complex medical cases.
Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities Depending on position and experience level, responsibilities may include: Provide advanced veterinary nursing care for specialty patients Perform patient assessments, triage, and medical history collection Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as directed Assist with cardiology diagnostics including ECGs and echocardiography Assist with internal medicine procedures and advanced case management Collect and process laboratory samples Assist with radiography, CT imaging, and diagnostic procedures Prepare and monitor patients for anesthesia and recovery Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Educate clients regarding treatment plans, medications, and home care Collaborate with specialists, veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
RVT Positions Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required Experience in specialty, emergency, cardiology, or internal medicine preferred Strong knowledge of anesthesia, pharmacology, patient monitoring, and advanced nursing care Ability to perform accurate drug dosage and fluid calculations Veterinary Assistant Position Experience in veterinary medicine preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and patient care Experience with laboratory equipment, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and patient handling preferred All Positions Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty hospital environment Team-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
