Works with Principal Investigator to plan, structure, and execute research experiments. Troubleshoots assays and customizes experimental tools Coordinates external and internal resources necessary for completion of research plan Generates clear and complete records of experimental work Participates in publication of research results Performs other duties as required or assigned to technically support scientific projects in the lab and other tasks that are assigned by Principal Investigator Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures
Education Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in biology, chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline required Experience 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience required
Knowledge of theoretical basis of work being performed preferred Ability to work independently with minimum supervision required Proficient in research laboratory techniques required Strong detail orientation and analytical ability required Ability to accurately carry out experiments and tasks by following established guidelines required Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks required Effective organizational and communication skills required Tools and Technology Personal computer required Specialized research equipment preferred #VBRI #LI-EH1
