Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of OB/GYN patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet individual needs and ensure quality outcomes
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels and collaborate with other disciplines
Coordinate care with obstetrics/gynecology teams and ancillary services to optimize patient flow and safety
Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in clinical decision-making
Document accurately and maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility)
OB/GYN or women’s health nursing experience preferred
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfortable supervising staff and coordinating care across disciplines
Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
