• Travel assignment with a 75-mile radius local rate option if applicable

• Floating: may cover MB, pediatrics, or adult floors as needed within scope

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate patterns, perform routine obstetric assessments
• Support labor and delivery processes, assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and provide newborn care
• Administer medications and manage post-delivery recovery plans; coordinate care with obstetric and neonatal teams
• Document care in Epic/Stork accurately and efficiently; ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards
• Assist with triage and admission assessments, respond to obstetric emergencies, and maintain patient and family education
• May float to other units (MB, pediatric, or adult floors) as needed within scope of practice

Requirements

• 4–5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Obstetric scope knowledge including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, GYN, and newborn care
• Epic/Stork experience required
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including days and nights; RN-to-patient ratios typically 1:1 to 1:2
• Willingness to float to MB, pediatric, or adult floors as needed within scope
