• Overview Children's Mercy Fetal Health The Special Care Delivery service at Children's Mercy is how we deliver many babies we have been following in the Fetal Health Center.
• More than 1,850 babies have been born here since the program started in 2011.
• The Surgical Technician II functions as a member of the patient care team, under the direction and supervision of the physician and/or registered nurse.
• This position provides technical skills in the role of the surgical scrub before, during and after operative procedures, by anticipating needs, preparing, organizing and troubleshooting equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures.
• Assists the physician(s) and nursing staff to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, utilizing resources efficiently, communicating effectively, and is proficient in scrubbing Level 6 procedures and below.

Qualifications

The pay range for this job begins at $25.39/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
