The Anesthesia Technician supports the surgical team by maintaining anesthesia workstations, restocking medication carts, and preparing equipment for invasive procedures. They are responsible for daily machine activation, leak tests, and assisting anesthesiologists during procedures.
A high school diploma is required, and completion of an anesthesia or surgical tech program or EMT experience is preferred. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
