Perform routine medical laboratory tests on biological specimens to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Maintain lab equipment through calibration and operation while ensuring the accuracy and validity of all test results.
Requires an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent and active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, or AAB. Preferred candidates have 18 months of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Technician.
OakLeaf Clinics - Laboratory has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time Medical Lab Technologist or Scientist to join our expanding lab team. The 0.8 FTE position includes 12-hour shifts during the week, every 5th weekend, and 2 hoidays per year.

Our healthcare team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and medical assistants working in concert with laboratory/imaging services to offer individualized care to the Chippewa Valley.
Position description
As a Medical Lab Technologist under general supervision, you'll perform routine medical laboratory tests essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease, as well as ensuring the validity and accuracy of test results. You'll participate in the supportive functions of quality control, instrument operation, limited troubleshooting, teaching, and limited problem resolution.
