Provide individualized care to patients requiring angiographic diagnostic evaluations and interventions. Focus on assessing healthcare needs, implementing treatments, and providing patient and family education.
Requires a current California RN license, BSN, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Candidates must have at least two years of Cath Lab experience and experience in Critical Care or the ED.
Your Role on the Team
A Registered Nurse who provides individualized care to patients requiring angiographic diagnostic evaluation and possible intervention. Emphasis is placed on assessment of healthcare needs, implementation of therapeutic treatment and anticipation, recognition and, if necessary, intervention of adverse effects of procedures/medical condition to assure positive patient outcomes. In addition, the angiographic cath lab nurse provides patient/family education to promote optimal healthcare status upon discharge

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Current California Registered Nurse license. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Two years previous Cath Lab experience Critical Care/or ED experience Completion of NIHSS certification All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Three years angiographic catheterization laboratory experience
