The nurse monitors medical necessity through the utilization management process and interprets data for the Utilization Management Committee. They provide critical data to Executive Leadership and the Medical Executive Committee to support performance improvement.
Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of experience, or a nursing degree with three years of experience. Must hold a Registered Nurse license from the Maine State Board of Nursing and have one year of hospital-based nursing experience.
