The CMA provides superior patient care by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in a clinic setting. They work as part of a care team led by physicians and advanced practice providers.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. National certification (CMA or RMA) and BLS certification are required.
The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
