• Lake Worth, Florida 33461 We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our clinical team. This position is responsible for accurately and thoroughly documenting patient visits in real-time, enabling physicians to focus on direct patient care. The ideal candidate will exemplify professionalism, adhere strictly to practice protocols, and manage workflow with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Transcribe and document patient encounters in real-time alongside physicians Efficiently manage an average of two patient charts per hour, and up to four during high-volume periods Sort and manage medical documents within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Assist with electronic prescribing and ensure prescription data accuracy Draft referral letters and facilitate communications with other providers as needed Support patient intake processes and contribute to a positive care experience Coordinate diagnostic tests and specialist referrals in collaboration with clinical staff Assist physicians with basic, non-invasive patient care procedures Maintain a clean, professional, and organized working environment Participate in training and mentorship of newly hired Medical Scribes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred Completion of a Medical Assistant training program considered an asset Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices Strong computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with EHR systems; Athena experience is a strong plus Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and under pressure Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
