Requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check. A bachelor's degree in human services and 3 years of experience with survivor services are preferred.

Experience Required: Any relevant experience in a related field. Experience Preferred: 3 Years of experience working with survivor services in the human services field. Valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check. Position Specifics Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week. Position Hours: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating evening, weekend, and on-call expectations. Full-time position. Nonexempt hourly position. $27.87 per hour estimated $46,375.00 per year. Comprehensive benefits are offered. Service Area: The position is located in Scott County but will cover Scott County, Muscatine, Louisa, Clinton, and Jackson County if needed. This position participates in a 24-hour on-call rotation.
The Advocate - Iowa Braking Traffik will provide comprehensive trauma-informed and survivor-centered services to survivors of human trafficking (labor and sex trafficking). This position serves the following counties in Iowa: Scott, Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, and Louisa counties. This position will collaborate with their team to meet the goals of providing quality survivor services, increasing survivor identification, increasing access to services, and increasing referrals. This position will provide short- and long-term culturally/linguistically appropriate services to promote the health, safety, and well-being of survivors. This position must be available and capable of participating in the 24-hour on-call rotation for Survivor Services, including day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage between 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.–8:30 a.m., and full 24-hour rotations on weekends and holidays across all five counties served (Scott, Muscatine, Louisa, Jackson, and Clinton). This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Supervisor - Braking Traffik & Iowa Domestic & Sexual Abuse. This position requires a flexible schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
