The Inpatient RN coordinates nursing care, providing direct patient care and family education in a collaborative environment. The role also involves providing leadership through precepting and participating in quality improvement efforts.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse in the state of practice with BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A BSN, two years of acute care experience, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred.
This full-time night shift position will work 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Required: RN in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association Preferred: BSN preferred 2 years' expereince in acute care nursing Bilingual English/Spanish
