Description Nurse Extern Nurse Extern opportunities with Morgan Medical Center!

• MMC is looking for recent graduates or soon the be graduates to join our nursing extern program.
• The nurse externs will work on the med surg floor under the direct supervision of an RN to provide direct patient care.
• Nurse externs will have the opportunity to experience MMC's patient focused center of excellence culture and learn and grow their skills.
• Under the guidance of an RN, externs will solidify their critical thinking skills, assessment and diagnosis skills, outcomes identification, planning and coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
• You will be able to see in action patient advocacy, performance improvement, leadership and professional development.
• This position transitions to a Full Time RN position when a GA RN license is acquired.
