The Medical Assistant is responsible for prepping patient charts, obtaining vitals and histories, and documenting patient activity in the EMR. They also handle prescription refills, provider orders for sleep studies and oxygen, and obtain prior authorizations.
Candidates should have at least one year of MA experience, preferably in a medical practice. Certified MA training or equivalent education is preferred, along with experience in EMR systems and taking vital signs.
