The Laboratory Technician performs medical laboratory tests and chemical analyses of body fluids to provide diagnostic data. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, maintaining Olympus AU640 instrumentation, and documenting quality control results.
A Bachelor's degree in science or medical technology is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be able to follow standard operating procedures and manage sample workflows accurately.
Description Spero Health is seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Technician to join our awesome team. This position is for a Part-Time Laboratory Technician who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships”. The Laboratory Technician will perform medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing calibrators, QCs and samples for analysis, preparing chemical reagents and performing daily maintenance of Olympus AU640 instrumentation.
Education: Bachelor's degree in science or medical technology from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
